A Singaporean hair product company wanted to spread the word about their new H4H hair formula which encourages healthy hair growth. In collaboration with the ad agency DDB Singapore, they decided to use one of the most popular promotional products out there, the t-shirt, in an innovative way.
They took plain white t-shirts and printed them with an image of the hair care product in the centre, but, more inventively, they printed the neck and shoulder area with a design that looked like long, lustrous hair. Sales-women with shoulder length hair then wore the t-shirts and used them to catch the attention of potential customers, and as a conversation starter.
Although these promotional t-shirts were not given away as gifts, they still worked to grab the attention of potential customers and get people interested in the product on offer, thanks to their clever design.
