Promotional Products Week 2015 (PPW 2015) is set to be even bigger and better than last year! Taking place between the 14th and 18th of September, Promotional Products Week is designed to raise awareness about the promotional products industry and the advantages of corporate gifts. But more importantly, the week, organised by the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA), is about offering great value to customers and ensuring every business, big or small, has the opportunity to benefit from all that promotional gifts have to offer.
Like many other corporate gifts suppliers, we at UK Corporate Gifts are going to be offering clients a limited-time-only offer on our extensive product range throughout the week. The first Promotional Products Week was held in 2013 by the BPMA, whose goal it was to showcase promotional merchandise at its best and demonstrate to customers why businesses are spending £840 million per year on promotional gifts.
At the same time, the BPMA conducted a survey, the results of which revealed just how popular promotional gifts are with the general public. It proved that 89% of people will keep a gift that they find useful, and that 3 in 10 consumers have deliberately changed brands in order to receive a promotional gift. It also showed that people were often so keen on getting a freebie, that they would use devious means to get ahold of a promotional product!
Whilst the first PPWeek did a great job at raising awareness and introducing the world to the corporate gifts industry, Promotional Products Week 2014 was an even bigger success, achieving 17.8 million media impressions - twice as many as in the first year, and creating a real buzz around the corporate gifts industry.
2014 was also a year to introduce a slogan for each year of the Promotional Products Week. That year's theme was "Promotional Products Rock!".
The slogan for PP Week 2015 is "Promotional Products Invoke Action" and it's gained a brand new mascott: the Promo Panda.
