Shoe giants Converse collaborated with Brazilian bridal stylist Julia Golldenzon to design a Converse bride collection, which featured two special edition shoe mod
els. In order to promote the new collection, ad agency Bonaparte came up with the idea of designing
miniature versions of the shoes in the form of keyrings. These keyrings were small but perfect versions of the shoes themselves, therefore embodying exactly what the collection had to offer.
Clever packaging made the promotional shoe keyrings more interesting and memorable for the recipients
These promotional keyrings were sent to Brazilian fashion bloggers and women's websites, cleverly packaged inside black boxes that looked like wedding ring boxes! The bloggers and journalists then wrote about the converse bride collection on their websites, publicising the new shoes and reaching over 1,100,000 people. This way of promoting the collection saved Converse money as they did not have to pay any PR or media fees.
