To make the experience of eating Oreo biscuits even more enjoyable, the cookie company sent out promotional checker boards via direct mail to enable people to play games with their food!
One side of the checker boards were printed with the Oreo logo, whilst the traditional black and white squares were printed on the other. Instructions were included with the mailer to encourage recipients to play the game using the contrasting black and white versions of the famous biscuits.
